In 1970 HEWI achieved its breakthrough with the classic, legendary lever handle 111.

A range including cloakrooms, handrails and balustrades and sanitary products was created with the principle: each part matches the other. During the following years, HEWI acquired cult status. With clear shapes, colours and quality, the brand gains worldwide recognition.

The 111 range can be seen all over the Channel Islands in office developments, schools and residential homes the colours still as vibrant as the day they were installed

In 2001 HEWI responded to the changing needs of the market with an extension in its material range. Lever handles made of stainless steel or aluminium are nowadays just as much a part of the product range as sanitary accessories made of chrome and stainless steel with glass components.
