Paxton Net2 is a simple but flexible access control system. The system is based around Paxtons Net2 software available in a Net2 Lite or Net2 Pro.

In most applications the free Net2 Lite software will give users all they need to maintain their system including full user details time zones and reporting. If more detailed reporting or more control at doors is required Net2Pro is available. This version of the software will support full anti pass back, Roll call / muster reports, Timesheet and ID card designer software.
 

There are 4 types of Net2 controllers available which can be mixed and matched on site as required:

 All controllers are hard wired to each other and communicate to the network via a comms convertor.

Controllers are connected wirelessly and communicate with the network via the air port interface. This system reduces cable runs and installation time.

TCP/IP controllers which are connected directly to the network via Lan/Wan network. They also have a RS485 allowing the controllers to be hard wired to other Net2 Classic or Net2 Plus controllers.

A self contained battery operated access control unit using the same technology as the Net2 Nano. This unit can be fitted in place of most existing architectural lockcases.
